Shanghai World Foreign Language Middle School, IB Division, is seeking to fulfill a part-time position as a teaching assistant in biology for the present semester and then full-time beginning September, 2012. Interested candidates must possess the following:
- Biology/Life Sciences degree
- Excellent English skills including reading, writing and speaking fluently.
- Former teaching experience in grades 6-12
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Instruct secondary school students grades 9-12 in the concepts and applications of biology at the standard and advanced level.
- Develop engaging coursework, including lab experiments and other scientific investigations.
- Present lessons and evaluate student performance.
- Contribute as a team member in a dynamic learning environment.
