Teaching Aims 1. Knowledge Aims (1) Students can recognize some positive/positive adjectives and phrases. E.g. exciting, lovely, cheap, slow, fast, all in all, be interested in and so on. (2) Students can summarize the different attitudes towards this school trip between Helen and Jim. (3) Students will have a further impression of simple past form. 2. Ability Aims (1) Ss are able to use some positive and negative adjectives to describe things and feelings. (2) Students are willing to talk about events in the past freely and happily. (3) Students are able to scan these two diaries for the different attitudes between Helen and Jim. 3. Emotional Aims (1) Encourage students to share their sweet and unforgettable memories with others. (2) Cultivate students’ habit of writing diary. Teaching Key Points 1.
